[Back]Shanghai, June 2026 — Longlight Energy (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd presented its complete PV testing portfolio at SNEC, the world's leading solar exhibition held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The booth showcased a full product matrix covering every stage from module production lines to field O&M.
A Complete Product Matrix
Four product lines were on display:
- I-V curve tracers: covering 1000 V to 1500 V system voltages, serving both distributed rooftop sampling and utility-scale full inspection;
- EL defect detectors: high-resolution electroluminescence imaging capable of revealing micro-cracks, broken fingers and dark spots down to 0.1 mm;
- Safety testers: insulation resistance, ground continuity and hipot testers compliant with IEC 61730 and IEC 62446;
- O&M diagnostics: portable thermal imagers and drone inspection solutions for refined plant maintenance.
Live AI Defect Recognition
The highlight of the booth was a live demonstration of AI-assisted EL defect recognition. Within three seconds of capturing an EL image, the system automatically annotated 12 defect categories — including micro-cracks, broken fingers and cell fragments — with 98.5% accuracy, while generating a traceable inspection report. Visitors from module manufacturers noted that the feature can triple production-line QC throughput.
Deepening Global Partnerships
During the exhibition, Longlight Energy hosted project investors, EPC contractors and distribution partners from more than 30 countries, reaching letter-of-intent orders with customers across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. "Overseas markets are placing rapidly growing emphasis on plant quality acceptance, and localized service for testing equipment is our core strength," said the company's International Sales Director.
Longlight Energy's next stop will be Intersolar Europe in Munich as the company continues to expand its European presence. Customers who missed the show can book an online product demo through the official website.
